There is description of Hazrat Abdul Rehman bin Abu Bakr Siddique رضی اللہ عنہا that once Hazrat Abu Bakr رضی اللہ عنہا took the Prophet ﷺ’s three guests to his house and he رضی اللہ عنہا went back to the Prophet ﷺand remained busy in conversation and dined with the Holy Prophet ﷺand came back late at night. His wife said that “where were you after inviting the guests at your home?” Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique رضی اللہ عنہا said that “have you not fed the guests yet?” said “I served the dinner but they refused to eat in the absence of the host.” After hearing that Hazrat Abu Bakr رضی اللہ عنہا became angry at his son. Then he رضی اللہ عنہا ate with the guests and the guests ate with their full appetite. The guests stated that “when we took the bite from the food, the quantity of the food became double in the food pot. And when we finished eating, instead of decreasing, the food became increased in the pot.” Hazrat Abu Bakr رضی اللہ عنہا asked his wife “what is the matter that food in the pot looks more than before?” she swore and said “really this food has increased three times more than before.” Then he رضی اللہ عنہا took that food to the Holy Prophet ﷺ. In the morning, a caravan of guests came to the Holy Prophet and there were twelve chiefs of twelve tribes and there were many riders with every chief. They ate that food and the entire caravan ate the food to their stomach’s content but the food didn’t finish in that pot. I have one sister Bibi Asma. Who is the second one? The Dream of Hazrat Ali رضی اللہ عنہا and Interpretation of Hazrat Umar Farooq رضی اللہ عنہا:
Once, Hazrat Ali رضی اللہ عنہا the Lion of Allah saw a dream that he offered prayer behind the Holy Prophet ﷺ. After that the Prophet ﷺ sat leaning against the sanctuary. Suddenly, a slave girl came with a plate full of dates and put in front of the Prophet ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ took a date and said (یا علی تاخذ ھذہ الرطبتہ؟) “O Ali رضی اللہ عنہا! Will you eat the date?” I said: Yes! Ya Rasoolallah ﷺ” and the Prophet ﷺ put that date in my mouth. Then took another date and asked again and I said yes and he ﷺ put that date in my mouth too. When I woke up I was in that state still and there was the taste of the dates I had eaten in my dream. I did the ablution and went to the masjid and offered prayer behind Hazrat Umar Farooq رضی اللہ عنہا, after that Hazrat Umar رضی اللہ عنہا sat leaning against the sanctuary like the Prophet. I just made up my mind to tell about the dream that a woman came with the plate of dates at the door of masjid and put in front of Hazrat Umar رضی اللہ عنہا. Hazrat Umar رضی اللہ عنہا took a date and asked (تاکل من ھذا یا علی/) “O Ali رضی اللہ عنہا! Will you eat the date?” I said “yes, why not, I will eat”. Then he رضی اللہ عنہا put that date in my mouth. Then, he رضی اللہ عنہا took another date and asked again. I said yes and he رضی اللہ عنہا put that date in my mouth too. And he رضی اللہ عنہا started dividing the dates among other companions. I wanted to eat more dates then he رضی اللہ عنہا said looking at me (یا اخی لوزادک رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم لزدناک) that “O my brother! If the Prophet ﷺ had given you more than two dates in your dream, we would have given it to you too”. Hazrat Ali رضی اللہ عنہا says that: (فعجبت و قلت قد اطلعہ اللہ علی ما رایت) (remaining at page no#53)
